Hey Jak, this is some good stuff. It looks great on my ET-8500. The lighter the cards art is, the better. The foiling tends to hide behind the thick black pigment. (Which makes the cards look even more realistic)
Sometimes the paper can go crooked when being pulled through the printer, so be mindful of that and make sure your giving enough wiggle room on the edges.
I love the paper and I will absolutely be purchasing more in the future.

Once again I was let down by WotC when I tried to pick up The Most Powerful Superdrop in the Universe...so I made my own with this surge foil paper. I am far happier with this than I think I would have been with the official ones!

Surge foil paper works great for me. I use an inkjet printer and looks very good. I have been making my own MTG tokens and they look awesome. Will probably buy this again when I run out.
It prints extremely well on an Epson 8550. No smears or smudging. The color can really on some cards.
The paper is thicker than normal. So, if you're planning on making a whole deck with it, it's going to be larger than normal by a fair amount. I believe I found it to be 4 printed to 6 actual MTG cards. So, it be like if you doubled sleeve the deck in away. The cards are a bit snug to get into the sleeves due to the thickness and can be a bit of a pain to get into the sleeve because of the gloss texture.
Side Note: I'm aware that the Leo card looks like it burn or something. It's the same way on the image file.
Insane Results, Holding the ink great, and cut with no problems. Using for MTG, took me 3 pages to dial it in on the printer setting side (Thick paper setting Rear slot feeding only). 1000% will order again.
9.5/10 for Epson 2803 owners. 1 sheet at a time. Besides that, enjoying this product and def recommend.

Amazing. This product is magic. Ive been searching for cardstock that has the surge foil pattern and that isnt actually just an adhesive sticker. And something that works with an inkjet printer without sacrificing sharpness/print quality. This is that cardstock. Proxyjak also provides alot of additional information to make the best use of their cardstock which is an immense help. 11/10 I will be buying more for sure!!!
Pretty paper. Prints well. My only complaint is that the cards scratch easily, even with 24 hours of drying time the ink scratches off of the card.
hey there - this is why the listing says you must use them sleeved. it's not technically possible for the inkjet receptive coating to both absorb ink, and act as an impermeable varnish at the same time. these are just limitations of trying to replicate commercial processes using home equipment. you can use products like fix a tif (or lower cost walmrt options) to apply a varnish layer.
This paper is awesome for inkjet printers. For card game proxxies you just print and cut and they feel like the real deal.

Fantastic! The foiling is very appearent on my cards and the thickness and flexticity are great card-feel. They are obviously tactile though, but while sleeved are indistinguishable from genuine cards.
